In Canada, heart disease is the number one “killer” of the local people. Congenital heart disease is also a disaster both for families and new-born babies. These children should have had a good life, but instead they are consistently suffering from the disease; they have no choice but to enter the ICU for countless times, struggling on the edge of life and death—these little, soft bodies have suffered unimaginable pain.
Since 2013, Rubis SPA has begun to organize charitable events every year for orphans and sick children, giving them joy and love. On May 18th, 2018, the Canadian brunch of R SPA collaborated with the Heart & Stroke Heart Disease and Stroke Association (one of the most influential charities in Canada), to invite our members to join us in visiting the two-year-old children with severe congenital heart disease in Toronto Children’s Hospital, and brought warmness and love to Toronto,Canada. The deeper our members’ understanding of those children’s illness, the stronger our desire for bringing them happiness. We played games and built blocks with them, with the blocks symbolizing our members’ hope for building a beautiful future together with these children. On that day, smiles on children’s face, hearty laughter, joy and love that our members brought, filled every corner of the room. In the future, R SPA will continue to work together with members to pass love to more sick children (orphans) who are in need of help, so that joy and love will not stop at the heart of the baby, and positive energy will continue to be added to our society!
